February Community Hike & Yoga at Griffith Observatory

This month, we’re making our community hike extra special!

Join us for a scenic adventure from Ferndell to the West Observatory Loop, leading up to the breathtaking Griffith Observatory Lawn, where we’ll pause for a rejuvenating 20-minute yoga session before making our way back down.

🌄 Hike Details

Our route takes us through the sceneries of the Ferndell loop, gradually ascending to spectacular panoramic views of Los Angeles. This moderately challenging trail offers the perfect blend of movement, fresh air, and nature’s beauty, making it an ideal way to reset your mind and body.

🧘 Yoga Session

Once we reach the Griffith Observatory lawn, we’ll ground ourselves with Prasaman Yoga by Kelly, a practice rooted in classical Hatha Yoga, emphasizing mindful, functional movement. This session is designed to help you reconnect with your body, enhance flexibility, and cultivate wellness from the inside out.

🎒 What to Bring: Water, comfortable hiking shoes, yoga mat or towel.

Ensure you have plenty of water to stay hydrated during the hike and yoga session. We set off at 9:15 am, so please be punctual and arrive on time.

Please be considerate and respectful. If you register but can no longer attend, kindly update your RSVP to give others the opportunity to join.

We welcome individuals of all fitness levels, whether you're an experienced hiker or just looking to be part of the community. Feel free to go at your own pace and enjoy the views at a level that suits you best.
