39 Rue de Jean Kicks Off 25th Anniversary Celebrations with an Monthly Wine Dinners

39 Rue de Jean will launch its 25th anniversary celebration with an intimate, elevated wine dinner on Wednesday, February 26th, hosted in the restaurant’s wine bar — an inviting setting designed for conversation, connection, and celebration.

Designed as a singular experience, the evening will feature a five-course prix fixe menu, thoughtfully paired with wines selected to complement each course. Both the chef and sommelier will be in attendance, guiding guests through the menu and pairings with insight, storytelling, and a shared appreciation for the craft behind every plate and pour.

The dinner will be offered as one seating only at 6:30 p.m., creating a convivial, celebratory atmosphere for longtime fans and first-time guests alike.

Amuse-Bouche: 

Oyster with mignonette, shallots, red wine vinegar, cracked black pepper Picpoul De Pinet, Hughes Beaulieu, Languedoc (FR)

Starter: 

Tuna crudo, citrus, olive oil, fennel pollen Sauvignon Blanc, Massey Dacta, Marlborough (NZ)

Fish course: 

Sole Meunière, brown butter, lemon, parsley Chardonnay, Cave de Lugny (Unoaked), Macon Villages (FR)

Main Course: 

Duck Breast "Magret" a' la Minute; crispy magret de canard, cherry-red wine reduction, Lentilles du Puy a la Francaise Pinot Noir, Laurent Chardigny, Burgundy (FR)

Poached Pears in Spiced Red Wine Graham 10yr Tawny Port
