Bridging the Gap, Kansas City's largest environmental nonprofit, has been around since the early '90s. It started with curbside recycling and has expanded into KC Wildlands, Water & Energy Savers, and Heartland Tree Alliance, with a number of volunteer opportunities that allow citizens to take action in creating a greener Kansas City for everybody.
