RASA is heading into the wild. Welcome to Taman RASA, a new takeover series where music, people, and place finally get room to breathe.

We’re taking the village outside. Built around long afternoons that drift beautifully into the night, this is our space for slower conversations, shared tables, and dancing together freely.

And for our inaugural gathering, we’re bringing out royalty. We are welcoming one of house music’s most singular, untouchable voices: Detroit’s own Moodymann.

Through decades of landmark releases on KDJ Records and as a founding member of 3 Chairs, Kenny Dixon Jr. has forged a sound that blurs the boundaries of soul, jazz, funk, and raw house music. He doesn’t play by the rules, and he doesn’t play predictable sets. He plays with pure, unadulterated feeling, moving through genres to build a groove that connects the booth straight to beneath your feet.
