A nationally featured pitmaster. Cambodian-Texas barbecue. Live music, art, culture, karaoke, and community, gathered together for one unforgettable Boston evening.
Join the Mabazza Foundation as we welcome Chad Phuong, known nationally as The Cambodian Cowboy, to Boston.
This one-night cultural food experience brings together Cambodian flavors, Texas barbecue traditions, live entertainment, original artwork, cultural storytelling, and cancer-survivorship awareness.
A NEW VENUE AND AN EXPANDED EXPERIENCE
The event will now be held at in downtown Boston.
The main dining room can welcome up to 110 guests. Private karaoke studios provide additional space for families, friends, organizations, companies, and larger parties that would like to attend together.
The owner of VIVA recommends reserving private rooms in advance because availability is limited.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE INFORMATION
All event tickets and private-room packages include Cambodian-Texas barbecue prepared by The Cambodian Cowboy only.
Food and beverages ordered separately from VIVA Karaoke are not included and must be purchased directly from the venue.
INDIVIDUAL TICKETS
Early Supporter · $150
A limited early-release ticket including admission, the Cambodian Cowboy dining experience, live entertainment, art, and the evening’s complete community program.
General Admission · $175
Includes admission, the Cambodian Cowboy dining experience, live entertainment, art, cultural storytelling, and the complete event program.
Preferred Guest · $225
Includes everything provided with General Admission, plus preferred seating in the main dining room.
Foundation Patron · $350
Includes admission, the Cambodian Cowboy dining experience, preferred seating, and recognition as a Foundation Patron in selected event materials.
PRIVATE KARAOKE STUDIO PACKAGES
Private-room packages are designed for friends, families, community organizations, companies, and groups who would like to enjoy the event together while also having a private karaoke experience.
Private Studio Party for Four · $925
Includes:
• Event admission and Cambodian Cowboy BBQ for four guests
• A private karaoke studio for up to four people
• Preferred event seating
• A contribution supporting the Mabazza Foundation’s mission
Private Studio Celebration for Six · $1,395
Includes:
• Event admission and Cambodian Cowboy BBQ for six guests
• A private karaoke studio for up to six people
• Preferred event seating
• A contribution supporting the Mabazza Foundation’s mission
Private Studio Experience for Ten · $2,295
Includes:
• Event admission and Cambodian Cowboy BBQ for ten guests
• A private karaoke studio for up to ten people
• Preferred event seating
• A contribution supporting the Mabazza Foundation’s mission
Private studio times and room assignments will be coordinated with VIVA Karaoke after purchase.
Room availability is limited. Advance reservations are strongly recommended.
LARGER PRIVATE-GROUP EXPERIENCES
Private studio packages may also be available for groups of:
• 15 guests
• 20 guests
• Up to 30 guests in the VIP studio
Larger groups should contact the Mabazza Foundation before purchasing so room availability, timing, capacity, and package details can be confirmed.

Guests may also reserve a room directly through VIVA. A room reserved directly with VIVA does not include event admission, Cambodian Cowboy BBQ, or access to the Cambodian Cowboy program. Every room guest must also hold a valid event ticket unless the room is purchased as an official event package.
Food and beverages ordered separately from VIVA are not included in the event ticket or private-room package and must be paid directly to the venue.
MEET THE CAMBODIAN COWBOY
Chad Phuong, known as The Cambodian Cowboy, is a Cambodian American pitmaster whose cooking brings together Cambodian culinary traditions and the slow-smoked craft of Texas barbecue.
His food carries a larger story of identity, perseverance, cultural memory, reinvention, and the power of sharing a meal.
For one special evening, that story is coming to Boston.
WHY THIS EVENT MATTERS
The event is presented by the Mabazza Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity using art, culture, wellness programming, storytelling, and community partnerships to support people navigating cancer, recovery, caregiving, grief, isolation, and major life transitions.

• Outreach to survivors, caregivers, veterans, older adults, immigrant families, and underserved communities

Silent auction bidding closes. Winning bidders will be confirmed, and guests will receive instructions for payment, pickup, or delivery of purchased artwork.
