Join us for a featured exhibit by South Carolina native Will “Willy” Guthrie, whose expressive portraits explore the subtle complexities of human emotion and facial expression.
Working in acrylic on stretched canvas, Guthrie embraces a process-driven approach that allows for freedom, experimentation, and an ever-evolving style. Many of the works in this exhibit are based on photographs of people closest to him, capturing intimate mannerisms and nuanced expressions with honesty and care.
