STAY is a dark comedy that explores love, loss, and the ties that bind us across life and

death. Julian, a successful yet jaded TV producer, returns to the Malloy home to

reconnect with Russ, the sleepless patriarch, Monica, the resilient widow, and Elliot,

the drifting younger brother of his late best friend, Denny. But Julian’s visit takes an

extraordinary twist when Denny returns. Long-buried secrets and unresolved

conflicts surface. Russ confronts his regrets as a father, Monica wrestles with her

lingering grief, and Julian must navigate a spectral “Traveler” tasked with retrieving

Denny’s errant soul. A Traveler who can’t comprehend that vaudeville is now as dead

as he is. Humor and poignancy collide as the living and the dead negotiate forgiveness,

connection, and the desire to experience life fully—whether that’s sweet redemption

or just another taste of bluefish.
