After her Dad runs over a strange creature, maybe an opossum, maybe something way weirder, and buries it in Carol’s pot. When peculiar things start to happen, seemingly related to those odd creatures, Chris is drawn to get to the bottom of everything, and brings Hugo, her little German neighbor boy, along for the ride
