Their Excellencies of Wyewood, John and Margaret, invite you to join them as they chose their new Bardic and Arts and Science Champions. A joyous day is planned with classes, a rapier tournament and day of Bubba fun.There will be an amazing feast featuring whole pig on a spit by Lady Gondul the Unwitty. Limited offboard seating is available.

Feast Menu for Feast of St Bubba
1st Remove-Pita Chips,Hummus,Spinach Artichoke Dip

4th Remove - Lemon Posset
Simple lunch of soup and bread provided for donation.

In addition to the Arts Championships, so much more is planned for your delight as we spend the day together! Artisans and invited and encouraged to display in the Arts and Sciences area, competing or not. The Barony of Madrone will be joining us to hold their Arts and Sciences championship and have graciously offered to have judges use the rubric to get artisans familiar with the format in a non-competitive opportunity.
Dance to be led by the ever charming and knowledgeable Maestra Sara de Bonneville.
A Rapier tournament by Maestro Donatello.

Wyewood Arts and Sciences competition format:
Candidates for the Wyewood A&S Championship should come with one completed project and another project either in progress or completed. They should be prepared to give a short discussion on their projects and be prepared for questions, including what they will do to champion the arts and sciences in Wyewood should they win. They should have two copies of their references or works cited. This reference section can be a short list of books, articles, websites or other sources used and does not need to match a specific style. Candidates may optionally bring written documentation if they wish - if they do, they should bring two copies. Mentors can be found if you have any questions about entering.
All artisans are encouraged to enter! There will also be display area available for those who wish to display their A&S projects but are not entering for Champion.

Wyewood Bardic Champion competition format:
Hail, those who wish to compete to as Wyewood Bardic Champion!
After consultation with Their Exellencies, John and Margaret, there is an agreed upon format.
It is preferred you contact the Coronets with your intention before the day. Declarations and first entry will be accepted formally at opening court at Feast of St. Bubba, February 14th, 2026.
Two performances are expected that day. Again, the first at opening court and the second at lunch break. It is highly encouraged at least one performance is sung, while the other is open to be an additional song, or poetry, instrumental, puppetry, spoken word. If you do not wish to sing, and that is not your art style, please let Their Excellencies know in advance that is your intent.
