Ready to hit the trails, meet fellow dog lovers, and explore one of Tulsa's favorite outdoor destinations?
Trails & Tails is a free community dog walking club hosted by Flourish Companion Project, where dogs bring people together. Whether you're looking to enjoy nature, strengthen your dog's real-world skills, make new friends, or simply be part of something bigger, we'd love to have you join us.
Our mission is simple: Support. Connect. Flourish.
We're building more than a walking club—we're building a supportive community centered around education, responsible dog ownership, and meaningful connections.
Everyone is Welcome
Whether you're a first-time dog owner, experienced handler, foster, adopter, rescue volunteer, trainer, behavior consultant, veterinarian, groomer, pet sitter, therapy or service dog handler, or simply someone who enjoys spending time outdoors with dogs, there's a place for you here.
We also welcome those currently working through training challenges. Whether you're building confidence with a new puppy, helping a rescue settle into a new life, practicing leash manners, or preparing for more advanced adventures, our walks provide an opportunity to work in a real-world environment while surrounded by a supportive community.
More Than a Walk
Trails & Tails was created to connect people through a shared love of dogs while fostering education, collaboration, and community.
Our walks provide opportunities to:
Practice real-world leash skills and trail etiquette.
Build confidence for both dogs and handlers.
Learn from one another in a supportive environment.
Meet local pet professionals and organizations.
Connect with fellow adopters, fosters, and rescue advocates.
Build relationships within Tulsa's pet community.
Support one another as we work toward individual training and behavioral goals.
Encourage responsible dog ownership through education and positive experiences.
For pet professionals, these walks also provide an opportunity to engage with the community outside of the workplace, network with fellow professionals, support existing clients in a group setting, or simply enjoy spending time with others who share a passion for improving the lives of dogs and their people.
Whether you're helping a recently adopted dog gain confidence, practicing calm pack walking with a client, meeting future collaborators, or simply enjoying good conversation on the trail, every walk is an opportunity to learn, grow, and give back to our community. We believe strong communities create confident owners, successful dogs, and lasting relationships.

To help keep our walks safe and enjoyable for everyone, all participants must complete our annual participant waiver before attending their first event.
