F*ck the Small Talk has traveled the world from Berlin to London, Lisbon, Buenos Aires, and Medellin, and is now coming to Mexico City! 🇲🇽

📦 WHAT'S THIS ABOUT?
FTST is a one-of-a-kind social experience where strangers come together for an afternoon of meaningful, fun, and deep conversation. It’s also just a different & cool way of meeting new people by getting a bit of your comfort zone and skipping the small talk!

Join us for of games, talks, and connections with friends you haven’t met yet. Join if you get annoyed after being asked what you do, where you are from, and how long you have been in Mexico City every single time you meet someone. If you feel that there are better questions in life then this is the place for you. 🙌

🎈 HOW DOES IT WORK?
We start with a short & sweet intro talk followed by a few light-hearted group games to warm up. After that, we split you up into small groups and start with the conversation rounds (with 3-4 people).
We'll have our own awesome question cards that will guide the flow of the conversation. (You’ll never have to speak in public if you don’t want) You'll be guided by an experienced host who'll make sure everything goes smoothly. 🍭

Our events are limited to 30 hand-picked guests to ensure a cozy atmosphere. We prioritize a balance in gender and cultural diversity, making each gathering a unique blend of perspectives! If you're invited you'll receive an invite with a special link via our ticketing platform Luma :)

🧧 HOW MUCH IS IT?
The cost to attend starts at USD 15.50-19.50 and includes the following:
⏰ 3 hours of facilitated and curated activities by an experienced host
🥪 Light snacks to keep the energy going (only if the event is outdoors)
🙌🏽 Access to the FTST CDMX group on WhatsApp
🎴 A sweet discount off our cards (launching March)
👥 A space to meet new people in the least boring way possible
💛 Supporting our mission to slowly eliminate small talk around the world

👋 MEET RUDRA, YOUR HOST
Rudra is Canadian-Indian who came to Mexico City for health reasons and stayed because he fell in love with its vibrant atmosphere. Embracing openness, he loved connecting deeply with locals and foreigners. He is also slowly growing brand offering locally crafted unique premium furniture designs.
"It's been a joy immersing with beautiful people in a social and entrepreneurial context within CDMX", and Rudra looks forward to paying it forward via FTST! PS: He loves super underground electronic music - so if you're into that feel free to let him know!

• Can I come alone?
Of course, in fact, we encourage it!

• Can I be late?
Please don't! Late arrivals will disrupt the floooooooow.

• I signed up but never got an invite. Why?
We tend get a high volume of sign-ups yet we are only able invite 30people. We believe this is a good number to ensure an awesome experience! Please try again next time if do not receive an invite - no hard feelings 💛

• Why do you charge?
We value our time and put a lot of love, planning, and effort into creating & designing these experiences. ♥️ This is our project/business and what we give to the world and we think everything should be a fair exchange! However, money should never be the reason for people not to attend. If you can’t afford it simply get in touch with us :)

• I'm digging this! Can I get involved somehow?
Sure thing, send us a message!

• Can I bring my cute dog/llama?
It depends on where the event is! Message us to make sure. But it's always a YES in our hearts

• Can I get a refund if I can't make it?
Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds or ticket transfers to another event date if you cannot attend with a notice of less than 48 hours notice. BUTTTT feel free to pass on your ticket to a friend, provided they also sign up the form :)
