- A REQUEST FOR PRAYERS & ASSISTANCE - My friend, my brother, Macario “Mac” Sosa, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. We plan to use this fundraiser as a means to help ease some of the financial burden incurred due to medical bills, co-pays, parking expenses at the hospital, meals at the hospital, and so on.
Let me tell you about Mac.
#1) MAC BELONGS TO OUR LORD AND SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST.
#2) Mac is a FIGHTER!
#3) Mac is a husband, father, and grandfather.
#4) Mac is a servant as he is a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and is approaching 40 years of service in LAW ENFORCEMENT (Honorably discharged from the USMC and Honorably Retired from the Houston Police Department).
#5) Currently employed with the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office as a Homicide/Robbery Investigator.
#6) Mac is a leader and many, many follow him.

We are working on a LIVE AUCTION with the only thing remaining to do is confirm the space is available. The TENTATIVE date and time are Friday, May 29, 2026, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM at the Gus George Training Academy located at 1521 Eugene Heimann Cir., Richmond, Texas 77469. This is the same day as the BBQ Fundraiser & Raffle. The drawing for the raffle will occur at 1:00 PM.
People are reaching out and offering donation items and we have an auctioneer who has volunteered to donate his services. Once the venue is confirmed, I will certainly update everyone. Below is a list of items we currently have:
