FBC-Charlotte: Afternoon Outing @ McAlpine Creek Park

join us for an afternoon birding outing at mcalpine creek park!

mcalpine creek park sits along one of charlotte’s more established greenway corridors, with a mix of creekside habitat, wetlands, and wooded edges.

this outing is open to everyone, whether you’re brand new to birding or have been doing this for a long time!

what to expect:
• easy, mostly flat walking on gravel and paved greenway paths
• a mix of wooded sections, open clearings, and creekside views
• occasional wetland edges that can be active for birds
• slow pace with frequent stops for observation and listening
• some shaded areas, but also stretches with sun exposure
