The city of Fayetteville will hold an inauguration ceremony for the recently elected Mayor and City Council at 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 1. The ceremony will take place at Fayetteville State University in the J.W. Seabrook Auditorium, 1200 Murchison Road. The following individuals will be sworn in during the ceremony:
Mayor - Mitch Colvin
District 1 – Stephon Ferguson
District 2 – Malik Davis
District 3 – Antonio Jones
District 4 – D.J. Haire
District 5 – Lynne Greene
District 6 – Derrick Thompson
District 7 – Brenda McNair
District 8 – Shaun McMillan
District 9 – Deno Hondros
Following the administration of oaths of office, Mayor Colvin will call the City Council Organizational Meeting to Order where the only item will be to vote on the next Mayor Pro Tem.
The ceremony will be livestreamed on the City’s YouTube channel, Youtube.com/@CityOfFayettevilleNC.
