Faux Cake Decorating Workshop: Autumn & Halloween Edition

In this festive two-hour class, your skilled instructor will guide you step-by-step through transforming a box into a sweet, realistic faux cake—complete with autumn and Halloween-inspired flair. You’ll master essential techniques to apply smooth layers of paint, create intricate details, and add charming seasonal embellishments that make your piece both whimsical and decorative. Here's what you can look forward to during our two-hour faux cake decorating experience:

• 6:00 PM - 6:15 PM: Welcome & Introductions Settle in, grab your complimentary refreshment, and meet your fellow crafters and instructor. We'll briefly go over the class plan and what sweet faux creations we'll achieve together.
• 6:15 PM - 6:45 PM: Laying the Foundation: Prep and paint your box with acrylics. We’ll apply a thin, even first coat, allow it to dry, then add a second coat for full, smooth coverage.
• 6:45 PM - 7:50 PM: Decadent Details & Embellishments With your base complete, it’s time to decorate. Learn how to use a variety of decorating tips to create swirls, borders, and intricate designs, then finish your piece with seasonal “sprinkles” and embellishments to give your faux cake box a one-of-a-kind look.
• 7:50 PM - 8:00 PM: Q&A, Sharing, & Wrap-Up We'll wrap up the class with time for questions, sharing your finished creations, and discussing tips for future faux cake projects at home. You'll leave with your beautifully decorated faux cake box!

• Expert Instruction: Enjoy step-by-step guidance from your instructor in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere designed to spark creativity.
• Your Own Keepsake: By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a beautifully decorated faux cake box to take home. Please note: your piece will need 24–48 hours to fully dry before it can be used or displayed.
• Refreshments Included: Sip on a complimentary glass of wine or a non-alcoholic beverage while you create. A charcuterie spread featuring meats, cheeses, crackers, and fruit will also be provided.
