On October 24th renowned, Grammy-winning, multi-instrumentalist, Fats Kaplin will give a rare solo performance playing a number of stringed instruments, (violin, mandolin, oud, and who knows what else!). Fats will demonstrate and discuss how he meshes these traditional instruments with many diverse artists such as John Prine, Jack White, Mitski, Tinariwen and hundreds of others. Expect an evening filled with innovative music and intriguing stories drawn from his life, beginning in the NYC Folk Scene of the 1960s and all through his global musical journey.
