Spokane is the official birthplace of Father’s Day! This year, we’re honoring that history by creating a space for our community to come together, celebrate the father figures we love, and honor the ones we hold in our hearts.
Join Home of Shalom, Shine 104.9, the Spokane Fatherhood Initiative, and Serve One More for a meaningful Father’s Day experience at the NorthTown Mall.
Whether your Father’s Day is filled with celebration or reflection, there is a place for you here.
🎁 The Gift-Making Station: We are providing free gifts, gift bags, and customization supplies. Bring the kids (or the whole family) to create a one-of-a-kind, personal gift for the dad or father figure in your life.
✉️ Letters of the Heart Station: We know that Father’s Day can be a complex time. We’ve set aside a quiet, supportive space for those who want to write a letter—to a dad who is present, a father who has passed on, or to process feelings regarding an absent father. Volunteers will be available for anyone who needs a listening ear or a moment of support.
Where: NorthTown Mall Food Court
When: Friday, June 19 - Sunday, June 21 during mall hours (while supplies last)
Cost: Completely FREE!
