About this Event
The 3rd Annual Old Timey Base Ball Game - let's celebrate Dad! A wildly popular, historic-era vintage baseball exhibition hosted on Balletto Vineyards' regulation-sized "Dream Field" in Santa Rosa, California - surrounded by the vineyards of Wine Country.
Let's play BALL! Teams play a game using authentic 1800s rules (typically 1886), period-appropriate wool uniforms, and traditional equipment (with players fielding barehanded). A sell-out event every year!
The daylong experience combines 19th-century sports with food, award-winning wine, one-of-a-kind vineyard views, and a charming, whimsical atmosphere. Including authentic costumes, full character performances, and the thrill of ‘channeling our inner Kevin Costner,’ all set against the stunning backdrop of our Dream Field in the middle of the vineyards.

- Location: Balletto Vineyards, 5700 Occidental Road, Santa Rosa, CA 95401
- Host: Teams from the Bay Area Vintage Base Ball (BAVBB) organization
- Atmosphere: Limited Stand Seating. Guests can bring lawn chairs or blankets, enjoy curated local food for purchase (smashburgers, hot dogs), and drink Balletto's award winning wines right alongside the Dream Field among the vines and under our Redwood rows of trees.
- Tickets: Three options. Range between $35 for general admission and $50 for VIP, with discounted rate of $20 for kids 12 and under. Pre-registration for wine club members is also available - learn more about our club perks! A family friendly event. Service animals are welcome.
