Father's Day "You're a Star" Walk

This Father’s Day, help us honor the stars in our lives at the “You’re a Star” Walk at Mason Park’s Larson Lake. Stars will be displayed the weekend of Father's Day at our Fishing Derby.
Families are invited to celebrate a father, father figure, or hero by decorating a wooden star in their honor. Purchase a wooden star from us and take it home to decorate in a way that reflects the personality, passions, and impact of the special person you are recognizing. After the walk, you can bring the star back to your own home and let it shine in your yard and garden!
Event Timeline:
Pick Up Your Star: Friday, June 12th through Wednesday, June 17th at Haish Gym (303 S. 9th St).
Return Your Decorated Star: by 5:00pm on Thursday, June 18th
Pick Up Your Decorated Star: June 23rd-July 2nd from Haish Gym
The DeKalb Park District is not responsible for any lost or damaged stars.
