A comedy based on the radio show which then became a (1954) TV series, "Father Knows Best," follows the family of Jim Anderson, his wife, Margaret, and their three children, Betty, Bud and Kathy. While Jim is always trying to provide the best advice to his children, he may discover the young people know a little, too.
