‼️Celebrate Fat Tuesday the German way‼️Fat Tuesday (Fastnacht) is the custom of celebrating the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday, which begins the season of Lent, the time of fasting before Easter.
🎭 Come in costume to the Hofbräuhaus Newport 🍻 on Tuesday, February 17th, from 5pm to 9pm.
🔅7:00pm = Children’s Costume Parade with prizes for ALL kids
🔅7:30pm = Adults’ Costume Parade with prizes for the 4 best outfits
This Fat Tuesday event is sponsored by the German-American Citizens League (GACL) and serves as a fundraiser for the GACL and German Heritage Museum.
