Come, join the Justice Seekers of Pinellas County at FAST's biggest rally of the year, Nehemiah Action to take a Stand for a More Just Pinellas County!Join your neighbors from about 40 congregations of different faith traditions in Pinellas as they advocate to resolve local community issues and to make our county a Beloved Community for all, including our brothers and sisters who are marginalized by dominant systems.
The two issues FAST members are currently working on are;
- To create at least 1000 more Affordable Housing units for folks making 80% or less of the Area's Median Income ($76,400 or less for a family of four / $53,500 for a single person), and
- To address Local flooding & Water Quality issues by city / municipal implement code changes that require Green Infrastructure Solutions (GSI) in new develement and redevelopment plans.
