Fashion Through the Ages Exhibit Opening

Step into the world of style and self-expression at Fashion Through the Ages, a new temporary exhibition opening at The Shadows. Featuring a remarkable selection of historic garments and accessories from the Weeks family collection, the exhibition explores how fashion evolved across generations and reveals the ways clothing reflected changing tastes, social customs, and daily life. Discover the stories woven into each piece and experience the enduring connection between fashion, family, and history.
Opening festivities include light catering and a specialty drink.
The exhibit opening will take place on Thursday, August 20 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Shadows Visitor Center (320 E. Main Street, New Iberia).
Tickets are $50 per person and includes a year-long membership in the Friends of the Shadows program. (Admission is free for Friends of the Shadows who renew before August 20.)
