About the charity
We are a nurse -led theraputic Cancer support center for people who have a cancer diagnosis . We are here for you and your family whenever you need us, during or after your treatment.
We are based on the Wirral, and we welcome people from all over the Northwest.
We offer a wide array of complementary therapies all under one roof. These include counselling, nutritional awareness and relaxation therapies such as mindfulness and meditation, as well as reiki, acupuncture and craft. You can also enjoy something more active like yoga or tai chi or simply sit down with one of our team of nurses and volunteers for a cup of tea and a chat.
If you can’t come to us, then we can come to you with our outreach service, whether you’re at home or in hospital.
Our telephone support line is always available to you so whenever you hit a low point, someone will be there with a listening ear.
If you don’t want to join in with our classes and workshops, you can simply visit us Monday to Friday to have a sit down in our warm and welcoming therapy centre and relax on your own or get to know other patients. The Holistic Cancer Centre is the birthplace of many wonderful and lasting friendships.
