Please join us for a fundraising event for the on-going development of the Clan Mothers Healing Village on May 9, 2025 at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights!
Fashion as Activism:Intergenerational Mending
Our Ancestors have always used tribal design to tell the world who they were. Today, Indigenous folk continue to to use Fashion as Activism to seamlessly blend and leverage the power of fashion and art to amplify voices, raise awareness, champion rights and forge allied relationships to inspire positive change and create lasting relationships.
Featuring:
Anne Mulaire, Amy McPherson- Fashion Ikwe Designs, Wendy Sinclair-Pretty Windy Designs and special guest! Performances by the Bannock Babes Drag Queens and Tribal Dance Party with DJ-The Kaptain!
Doors Open at 5:30pm. Programs starts at 6:15 pm.
