Farming - Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow - a moderated panel discussion

Join us for an insightful discussion on the evolution of agriculture in Delaware County. As development and change sweep the region, we invite you to hear firsthand from seasoned farmers and experts who have witnessed the transformation of the agricultural landscape. Over 46% of our county land is used for farming and it is one of the top industries in the area. Our panel will feature family farmers with deep roots in the community, sharing their experiences and reflections on farming practices from the past to the present. You'll learn about the innovative techniques they've implemented over the years and how they have adapted to economic and environmental challenges. The panel members include Rob Leeds, Ohio State Extension Service; Jacci Smith, Ohio State Extension Service; and farmers, Brian Skinner, Doug Dawson, Cameron James, and Mary Fleming.
