Farmers Market Volunteer Opportunity - BZP Bakersfield (Purpose)

Catholic Charities serves over 400 families each month during its Free Farmers Market, providing free local produce to all individuals in need, regardless of their religion. Its mission is to serve, advocate for, and empower those in need with dignity and compassion.

Volunteer Info:

• Volunteers will help bag food from pallets, hand out food to clients and greet and sign in clients.
• Most volunteers will be standing for the duration of the event
• Closed-toe shoes required
• Event will be held outdoors

Location details: 825 Chester Ave. The event will be held in the alley behind the building. Volunteers can park on the street or in the St. Francis Gym parking lot.
