Farmers Market Screening and Education Day

Join MU Health Care experts at the Columbia Farmers Market on Saturday, July 25 from 8 a.m. to noon for free screenings, education and family-friendly activities. We’ll also be giving away free thermal tote bags to the first 500 attendees to carry all of your fresh Farmers Market produce!
This event is free and open to the community.
Health screenings and education will include:
- Heart Health Screenings: Our cardiology team will offer free ECGs and blood pressure screenings, along with some helpful information about our Love Your Heart Cardiac Screening.

- Stroke and Concussion Education: Learn the signs of stroke and hear from our neurology team on baseline concussion screenings.
- Skin Health Education: Our dermatology team will share tips on sun safety, how to spot changes in your skin and what to look for when doing self-checks.
- Stop the Bleed and Hands-Only CPR: Get hands-on training from our trauma team on how to respond in an emergency.
- Vision Screenings: Stop by for a quick vision screening with our ophthalmology team.
- Child Safety and Car Seat Checks: Safe Kids will share tips to keep your family safe and will also be offering car seat checks.
- Pediatric Growth Checks: Our pediatrics team will be in The One-Room Schoolhouse offering height, weight and BMI checks along with kid-friendly activities.
