We’re thrilled to announce the return of the Farmers Market at the Guilford Fairgrounds, now conveniently relocated to the front of the fairgrounds for better visibility! Starting May 15th, the market will be open every Thursday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, offering a diverse selection of fresh, local produce, farm products, specialty foods, and a welcoming community atmosphere. Best of all, everything at our market is grown, produced, and crafted right here in Connecticut!This year, we’re excited to welcome River Ridge Farm, an organic, no-till farm dedicated to sustainable farming practices. River Ridge will offer an impressive range of vegetables, from rooted veggies and salad greens to braising greens and much more, all fresh from their fields.
We’re also happy to have Dondero Orchards returning for another season, bringing a great selection of seasonal fruits and vegetables, as well as homemade baked goods, pickled items, and jams, all crafted in their farm kitchen.
Well Comb Home Honey is back with their local raw and flavored honey, along with their signature creamed honey and other bee-related products.
New to our market this year, we’re proud to introduce Cherie's Bakery. With over 50 years of experience, this family-run bakery is renowned for its exceptional Italian baked goods, made with high-quality ingredients and traditional craftsmanship. Let’s give them a warm welcome!
Another exciting new vendor is Angela's Kitchen Sauce, offering premium pasta sauces and salsas made from the finest ingredients. Come taste the difference in quality for yourself!
Fifth State Distillery, a Connecticut-based distillery, will also be returning. They’re known for their commitment to supporting local agriculture, sourcing grains from nearby farms to craft their high-quality spirits.
Maple Grove Farm will be back with their delicious local maple syrup, and during the summer months, they’ll also have fresh corn for sale.
Half-Mile Acre Farm will return with locally raised beef, offering a variety of cuts, along with pork Italian and breakfast sausages.
Papa Spyros Olive Oil, a market favorite, will be back with their exceptional olive oil. They’ll also be offering Greek dips and prepared Greek foods. Did you know Papa Spyros owns an olive farm in Greece and harvests their olives every fall? Stop by and learn more about their story!
Frank's Wood Fired Pizza will make a return on a biweekly basis, serving up delicious pizzas cooked to perfection in their wood-fired oven.
In addition, many of your favorite vendors will be back, offering sourdough breads, meats, nuts, sweet treats, fresh produce, and more!
