Spring Farmers & Makers Market – Saturday 4th April 9-1pmJoin us from 9am–1pm at Ashburnham Place, Battle for the first Spring Market of the year.
We’re pleased to be welcoming The Young Farmers from Le Rette Farm, who will be bringing their bottle-fed lambs along for families to meet — a gentle nod to the season and always a highlight for little ones.
As ever, the market will be full of thoughtfully sourced and locally made goods. You’ll find everything from fresh cut flowers and loose leaf tea to artisan bread and baked goods from our own bakehouse. There’ll be seasonal vegetables from the garden, local honey, candles, homemade condiments, local kombucha — and plenty more besides. With over 40 stalls, there’s a good deal to explore.
You can also enjoy live music as you browse, along with generous hot food offerings from our very own Ashburnham kitchen, served from the barn.
The market is set within a 4 acre walled garden, wonder around and enjoy the scene of a beautiful working kitchen garden, see th chickens and orchards where we grow our apples that make our juice.
We look forward to welcoming you for a relaxed and properly seasonal spring morning in the stunning grounds of Ashburnham Place.
