Parents can expect:
- A supervised environment with teaching coming from a Biology Graduate and Registered Nurse.
-Hands-on experience with real farm animals each week
-Outdoor time, movement, and sensory -rich activities
-A balance of science, creativity and fun
-30 minutes of free time to explore the farm, visit favorite animals, play and socialize
-Participants dive into farm science, animal care and environmental teaching.
-Includes 10 weeks of classes and costs for supplies including building a bird house and dissection kit.
• Education Student Accounts (ESA+) scholarship funds help North Carolina families pay for education and services for children with disabilities.
• North Carolina families can use ESA+ scholarship funds to pay for certain qualifying education expenses, such as educational therapy, tutoring and supplemental teaching services, and transportation to and from an educational activity, subject to review and approval by SEAA.
• The Feathered Farm, LLC is an enrolled provider for the ESA+ scholarship and is approved to accept ESA+ scholarship funds.
