📢 Farmers…First Responders…Community Members…Come join us!
On Saturday August 23, at Lewisburg’s Campus Theatre, we will be hosting a Farm Safety Movie Event. Free admission! Come join us for a screening of “Silo” - the impactful story detailing the dangers of grain bins and the crucial timeline that first responders are up against when these tradegies strike. Follow along as a small farming town races to save a teenage farmhand from a grain bin entrapment.
Before and after the movie there will be informational tables set up in the lobby including farm safety demonstrations from PSU’s Ag Safety and Health Program.
Following the movie, there will be time for discussion with first responders including recommendations you can take to prevent grain bin entrapments as well as actions to follow should you find yourself facing this scary situation.
