🌱 **VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – Tacoma Urban Farm Cleanup Day!** 🌱
Spring is here and it’s time to get the Farm ready for the growing season!
📅 **Saturday 2/28**
⏰ **10:00 AM**
📍 **Tacoma Urban Farm** – 6515 Tacoma Ave S, Tacoma, WA 98408
We’ve got some BIG prep work to do so we can grow even more food for the community this season.
🧤 **What we’ll be working on:**
• Weeding
• Mowing
• Digging up blackberry crowns
• Breaking down blackberry canes for yard waste
• Removing glass panels from the large greenhouse
• Cleaning out the inside of the large greenhouse
• Installing plastic along the lower portion of the greenhouse
• Cleaning out the garden bed in front of the greenhouse
• General farm cleanup
This work directly supports our mission to **Rescue the Harvest – Nourish the People.** Everything we grow here is given away — no requirements, open 24/7.
💪 Many hands make light work.
🌦 Dress for the weather.
🧤 Bring gloves if you have them.
