About this Event
Inspired by the legacy of Freedom Schools, Liberate Dat is a living classroom and a celebration of Black life. This gathering centers learning rooted in liberation—where history is shared out loud, wisdom is passed hand-to-hand, and joy becomes a form of resistance.
Join us for an afternoon of community education, embodied wellness, music, and movement. Together we’ll explore collective healing through workshops, a Hoodoo Wellness Hour, shared food, and a dance party to close the day.
This is a space for remembering, reconnecting, and reimagining—honoring ancestral knowledge while building futures grounded in care, creativity, and solidarity.
✨ What to expect:
- Hoodoo Wellness Hour 1PM-2PM
- Community workshops & teach-ins 2PM-4PM
- Food + fellowship 4PM-5PM
- Music & dancing 5PM-7PM
Come as you are. Bring your curiosity, your body, and your joy.
