The Des Moines County Farm Bureau Learning Tent is back for its third year at the Des Moines County Fair on July 31st! This year, we have an exciting lineup of fun and educational agricultural activities for kids of all ages.
What to Expect:
Interactive Chores: Kids can help with farm chores such as milking a cow, harvesting corn, collecting eggs from a chicken coop, picking apples, shearing sheep, and more!
Photo Opportunities: Capture the memories with our fun photo op setups.
Reading Corner: Relax in the shade and enjoy one of our Ag in the Classroom books in our cozy reading corner.
This event promises lots of free, educational fun for everyone! We are also looking for volunteers to help out under the Learning Tent. Volunteers must be 12 years of age or older. If you're interested, please email [email protected] to sign up.
Come celebrate agriculture with us and enjoy a day full of learning and excitement at the Des Moines County Fair!
