Farm and Forest Friends is a 90–120 minute class designed to help children slow down, explore, and build a real connection with nature. The first half of each class focuses on a hands-on nature or farm lesson, while the second half is dedicated to free play and exploration on the farm.Each lesson weaves together multiple subjects in a natural way — science, art, math, language arts, and even a bit of history — so learning feels meaningful instead of forced. Some of the activities we’ve explored include dissecting flowers to learn their parts, creating journey sticks while learning about storytelling, painting story stones, planting a bean teepee, and building nature mandalas.
Farm and Forest Friends is for families who believe childhood should be filled with curiosity, creativity, and time outdoors. Ages 6-14
