After a record-breaking career run across Canada, Faris Hytiaa brings his critically acclaimed show to Australia for the very first time.

In a show that hilariously breaks down culture and identity, the stories of "Be Good" dissect the hundreds of ways we try to put it all together. Informing his views of the world today, this is a show that dives further into his Sudanese heritage and its outrageous conflicts with his Canadian upbringing.

Known for his relaxed delivery and quick wit, Faris' unpredictable style makes for big laughs and unforgettable crowd work moments.

In just 6 years in stand-up, Faris has been featured at every televised Canadian comedy festival. He's the first Sudanese comedian to ever feature at the Just For Laughs Festival. He also headlined his first festival at Just For Laughs Toronto in 2025. He's worked with the likes of Hasan Minhaj, Mo Amer, Neal Brennan and is a fixture on CBC’s The Debaters. With albums on SiriusXM and CBC Radio, Faris also debuted on season 5 of Roast Battles Canada on Prime Video in 2026. His second comedy album, homesick., was nominated for a Juno Award for Comedy Album of the Year.
