FAREWELL FRIEND is fronted by singer/songwriter/guitarist Tom Troyer, who previously cut his teeth musically as a member of alt-rock band the Collection, then founded Black Rabbit Audio, a production studio in Greensboro through which he has produced over 18 albums for other artists. With his own band, Tom fuses his knack for poetic storytelling with delicate avalanches of sonic texture in ways that would appeal to fans of the Mountain Goats, the Microphones and Centro-Matic. The band will tour the mid-Atlantic this summer to support their latest album The Silent Years.
