Jorge Boehringer aka The CORE OF THE COALMAN is back in the United States for short trip. Tonight, Jorge is going to play EPIGRAPH, his new solo music for guitar and piano. If so, this will be the first ever performance of this. A world premier. Epigraph, like most of the recent Core of the Coalman music, is based on interferences. However, whereas Core of the Coalman is usually electronic and feedback-driven, Epigraph just relies on combinations of tones and textures in the air in the ears. or have a listen to this: https://coreofthecoalman.bandcamp.com/album/low-guitars-2
QUITE EYES OF AIR is made of machines and people. There is Yasi Perera on the one hand, often based in the Bay Area, and on the other Alissa DeRubeis who is based here in Rochester.
Earlier attempts to forecast this evening in words have yielded the following descriptive headlines:
Frustrated Nonviolent Tension SF+ROC
Droning Schoolmarm on Holiday UK
CHAMBER SOLO: MORE INSTRUMENTS THAN PLAYERS
DUO MEDIA SCAN IMPERSONAL AND MAD TIRED
hope that helps.
