FAR-West Presents is a monthly series devoted to promoting songwriters and artists and building community throughout Southern CA. The series features standout artists of the southern CA songwriting scene, compelling new voices and a participatory songcircle.

Emily Laliotis is a Los Angeles–based Folk Pop/Alt-Americana artist. Her songwriting draws on the narrative traditions of folk music, approaching real life experiences with levity and frankness. She pairs intimate acoustic foundations with contemporary sounds, delivering an emotional clarity rarely seen in her genre. In 2026, she will tour with Paula Fong and release her upcoming EP, Back to Dirt. Made primarily with producer/writer Jordan Ruiz (Lucy Clearwater, Hannah Connolly), the two worked together in the sandbox of the studio to infuse joy into every part of the creative process. https://emilylaliotis.com/
Los Angeles based artist Joseph Eid seamlessly blends sharp, melodic pop lyricism with traditional folk sensibilities evoking folk troubadours both past and present. He is one of those writers who delivers a sense of renewal and a deeper perspective with songs that make peace with life and simply being alive. Joseph has released 3 full length albums and is currently recording a new project set to release in 2027. His work has received considerable buzz landing him in American Songwriter Magazine's 'Best New Music' column. His songs have been placed in films and shopping malls across the country. Joseph Eid also fronts the band Celter Skelter, a Celtic-Bluegrass Beatles Tribute Experience playing throughout Southern California and beyond.
