Intention: Far Out East
I am just returning from my first pilgrimage to India where I was immersed in meditation receiving initiation from guru, Amma Karunamayi, the flame of Arunachala and the stillness of the Matrimandir. These potent experiences along with sights, smells, tastes and sounds of India will be infused in the set as I attempt to transport you to the Far Out East.
Magdalyn debuted as a DJ in Asheville in the summer of 2024, aligning with the rise of Venus. With over a decade of experience curating festivals, conscious gatherings, and ecstatic dance waves in Floyd, Virginia, she brings a seasoned devotion to movement-centered music spaces. Now a regular presence on Asheville’s ecstatic dance floors, she is first and foremost a lover of the dance. Magdalyn crafts sets that blend conscious lyrics, world beats, and juicy, booty-shaking rhythms, guiding dancers through immersive journeys that celebrate connection, transformation, and the pleasure of being fully moved by music. wrynmagdalyn.com
