It's Back! The 8th Annual Fantasy Land on Foot! The only night you can walk through Fantasy Land...November 19, 6pm - 8pm CST.
Have you ever wanted to walk through Johnstone Park (on the road - not across the park...too dangerous!) and see the lights? This is your chance...The night before we open officially for the holiday season, come walk the Park. Come stare at your favorite display without a car behind you!
Who knows what else we might have up our Rotarian Elf Sleeves?!
Fantasy Land of Lights works with
donations and no admission fee. The donations support Bartlesville Daybreak Rotary scholarships to college (university and vo-tech) for area students.
This special event, Fantasy Land on Foot, has a SUGGESTED fee.
AND
We have two ways to help us as you enter the park.
As before, we suggest $10 for adults, $20 for a family group (a group with 2 or more adults). Children/youth 18 and under are free.
The money we collect this year will be divided in half. Half is going to help Daybreak Rotary with their project this year, partnering with the City and Up With Trees, to get some new trees into Johnstone Park. The other half will be split among the four agencies we support in Bartlesville working on poverty alleviation: Salvation Army, Concern, Mary Martha Outreach, and Agape.
The second way to help us, back by popular demand, is food for local organizations. Non-perishable items (that are not expired!) are really welcome. We are partnering with the Bartlesville United Way again this year. They will help with the distribution after the event.
YOU DO NOT have to bring money and food. One or the other!
Strollers, wagons, wheelchairs and dogs on leashes are welcome.
