Hello Fellow Readers! We'll be discussing Hyperion by Dan Simmons. Join us in (slowly!) reading our next book. We will be discussing chapters 1 and 2 at our April meeting (page 175-ish depending on your edition!) Be sure to stop at Pop! to pick up your copy. We can't wait to talk books with y'all!
The Fantasy/Sci-Fi Slow Reader's Version Book Club!
Do you want to read long fantasy and sci-fi books, but just can't find the time for more than 250 pages a month? If this sounds like you, then keep reading!
This new book club, a collaboration between POP! Art Books Culture and The Scribbler's Den (www.scribblersden.org), aims to read just 2-3 books a year.
Each month we'll discuss approximately 1/4 to a 1/3 of the book. Not only will this help those massive tomes feel less intimidating to tackle, it'll allow us to do a deep dive into what's going on in each quarter of the book!
