MARKET MONDAY – HOMECOMING EDITION

Are you a student entrepreneur interested in showcasing your products or services to the FAMU community?

Join us on The Quad for Market Monday – Homecoming Edition! This special Homecoming event will feature student entrepreneurs, local vendors, community businesses, and more while providing an opportunity to connect with the FAMU community.

NON-UNIVERSITY VENDORS

This category applies to incorporated businesses (INC or LLC) that do not currently hold an agreement with Florida A&M University.

VENDOR FEES & REGISTRATION

All vendor fees must be paid through the designated online registration and payment system.

Each vendor will be provided with one table and one chair, which must remain within the vendor's assigned vending area.

Vendor registrations are non-transferable. The registered vendor must be present during the entire reserved time. No student, individual, organization, or vendor may reserve a Market Monday vendor space on behalf of another party.

UNLOADING & PARKING

Unloading Hours: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM ONLY

Vendors may unload during the designated unloading period. Vehicles are strictly prohibited from driving or parking in pedestrian walkway areas.

After 11:00 AM, all vehicles used for unloading must be removed from The Set and relocated to an authorized University parking lot, metered space, or other approved parking area.

Vehicles remaining in unauthorized areas after 11:00 AM may be ticketed or towed at the owner's expense.

Parking Permits

Vendors may obtain parking permits through the FAMU Police Department, located at 2400 Wahnish Way. For parking questions, please contact (850) 561-2657.

Vendors may park in designated General Parking areas or use metered parking. All applicable parking requirements must be followed.

LOAD-OUT

Load-Out Hours: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Vendors may begin loading out at 3:00 PM. Vehicles are not permitted to drive or park in pedestrian walkway areas.

All vendors must completely vacate The Set by 5:00 PM.

Before leaving, vendors are responsible for cleaning their assigned space and properly disposing of all trash and materials.

FOOD & BEVERAGE RESTRICTIONS

Vendors are not permitted to sell or distribute food or beverages during Market Monday without prior University approval.

HEALTH & MEDICAL SERVICES

Vendors interested in providing health or medical services must receive prior approval from the Student Health Center Director.

Written approval must be submitted to the Efferson Student Union & Activities Office before securing a vendor space.

VENDOR SPACE

Vendors must remain within the designated vending area assigned by Efferson Student Union & Activities.

Vendors may not occupy additional or unauthorized spaces on The Set.

AMPLIFIED SOUND

Amplified sound and music are permitted; however, vendors must comply with all University instructions regarding volume and placement.

REFUND POLICY

In the event of inclement weather or an unscheduled University closure, vendors may cancel their participation and will be eligible for a refund in accordance with the event refund policy.

LIABILITY

Florida A&M University (FAMU) is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged merchandise, equipment, or personal property.

Vendors are responsible for securing their merchandise, equipment, and sensitive items throughout the event.
