🐾 Family ShihTzu Puppy Yoga
Movement, mindfulness & magical puppy moments — for grown-ups and little ones alike
Looking for something joyful, calming and a little bit different to do together?
Our Family ShihTzu Puppy Yoga experience is a 90-minute session designed to bring connection, laughter and calm — all with a bundle of adorable cockapoo puppies exploring the room.
This isn’t about perfect poses. It’s about shared moments, wobbly balance, deep breaths, and the kind of giggles that only puppies can create.
What to Expect
We begin by gently settling into the space, meeting the puppies and arriving together with a simple, child-friendly grounding practice. Through playful breathing exercises and light mindfulness, we help everyone — adults included — land in the moment.
From there, we move into a fun, accessible yoga flow designed for families. Think:
Downward Dog with puppies wandering underneath
Partner balances and teamwork poses
Gentle stretches suitable for all levels
Laughter when things wobble (because they will!)
Midway through, we bring in a light-hearted yoga game using props like blocks — encouraging teamwork, creativity and playful movement while the puppies decide who to visit next.
We finish with a deeply calming restorative wind-down. Using blankets and blocks for support, families settle into cosy, supported poses with at least 20 minutes dedicated to rest and relaxation. This is where the room softens — slower breathing, cuddling puppies, and a shared sense of calm.
