Family Yoga is an opportunity for caregivers to playfully participate with their kiddos in yoga poses, yoga games, and meditation. Together, you'll explore animals and nature through movement, creating a fun and engaging experience for all.
Each class ends with sweet moments of connection and serenity, offering a chance to bond and relax in a peaceful environment. It's the perfect way for families to move, play, and unwind together!
This class is open to children 2 and up (ideally, to 10) with a parent or friend over 18.
Price: One adult + one child (age 2-10): $35
Ahimsa Members: $30
Additional participants - $5

About our presenter:
Ms. Rachael
From a young age, Rachael has been crafting her sense of imagination and adventure. Whether she was running cross-country or biking, the outdoors was her playground. She found solace in the endless beauty of nature and animals. Fast-forward to a few years ago, Rachael stepped away from a life of a high-intensity sales position and did a life-changing sabbatical in Mysore, India. This led to a path of integrating mindfulness and yoga in her everyday life. As she entered into the journey of motherhood, Rachael was dedicated to implementing tools of self-regulation.
Rachael founded Starlight Studio with a passion for empowering children and caregivers with mindful tools. Rae is certified to teach yoga for children through Rainbow Kids, and is a 200hr-certified adult yoga teacher. She is currently a Games /Movement teacher at her local Waldorf Grade School 1-8 and is leading Mindfulness Yoga Programs in private and public schools of IL. When not teaching classes, you can find her around Oakbrook Terrace enjoying the park with her little yogini, baking keto desserts and hanging out with her bunny Rubix.
