Join us for a fun, educational, and hands-on workshop designed for families. Explore how birds use tree holes, called cavities, to build nests and protect their young. Learn how, as older trees are removed for safety, these special nesting spots are disappearing, meaning birds need our help!Working together, build a cavity nest box to take home and place in your backyard, providing a safe space for birds to thrive. Includes materials for each registered participant to create a project. This workshop is for registered participants only, aged five and older. We cannot accommodate unregistered people or youth under five.
This workshop is a family learning experience, designed for adults (19+) and youth (5-14) to learn together. Youth must be accompanied by a registered adult participant.
Fee:
Youth (ages 5-14) $25
Adult (ages 19+) $35
Fee for Innovators, Gardens Preferred, and Gardens Premium Members:
Youth (ages 5-14) $22
Adult (ages 19+) $31
Fee includes all-day admission to the Gardens on the day of the class.
