Family Weekend 2026

Join us as we celebrate our Scarlet and Silver themed Family Weekend at Bellarmine University on the weekend of October 16th-18th 2025 starting at 5:00 PM on Friday with fun-filled events for parents and families. It's a great opportunity to connect with other families, visit the campus, and engage in university activities. Admission is $5 per person (Bellarmine students are free!), which gets you a Family Weekend Koozie and admission to El Carnaval, the optional 5K Walk/Run with the Pete Foundation, Bingo hosted by the Bellarmine Activities Council (BAC) and the Family Weekend Cookout!

Friday, Oct. 18th check-in at the Bellarmine Quad and enjoy our annual El Carnaval celebration with live band performances, food trucks, beer tickets, lawn games, sweet treats and great company! Utilize the "Get Tickets" tab to reserve a ticket and connect with your fellow Knights!

Saturday, Oct. 17th check-in outside Frazier Hall if you’re participating in the 5K Walk/Run with the Pete foundation. No prior-registration required! Purchase a ticket in Eventbrite to tour the Peerless Distillery with us! We will transport those who purchased bourbon tour tickets to the distillery for the tasting/ tour. Join the Bellarmine Activity’s Council (BAC) for a Family Weekend Bingo in Frazier Hall in the late afternoon! Grab dinner in the city with your student before the Louisville FC game! We recommend Impellizzeri’s Pizza, a BU alumni-owned pizza spot (students get 15% with a Bellarmine ID!); Havanna Rumba is a tasty Cuban restaurant just a 5-minute drive away from campus, located next to a student favorite, Graeters Ice Cream. Purchase tickets through Eventbrite for the Louisville FC Game, which grants you access to a tent covered seating area in the Waterfront Supporter Zone, a taco bar dinner, and a cash bar! Seniors graduating in December and May can email Cole Lopez ([email protected]) for a drink ticket voucher to redeem at the bar! Vouchers are limited to 4 per group with 40 tickets total and are included in the price for the game!

Sunday, Oct. 18th Father John will lead Catholic Mass in the morning followed by a Family Weekend Cookout in the Sienna Arboretto. If you and your family are interested in serving as a gift bearer, lector, or with collections please email the Sacristan, Alexis Santiago ([email protected])! The Family Weekend Cookout will include a cash bar, hot dogs, traditional chili, white bean and chicken chili served with toppings (including spaghetti!), corn muffins, and a toast to our graduating seniors and the end of a splendid Family Weekend!
