About this Event
The theme for this years Family Voice Calderdale Conference is "Working Together for Inclusive Education!"
We are at the wonderful Kings Centre, where we will have a day full of talks, roundtables and workshops for you all to enjoy, bringing together Parent Carers with lived experience and Professionals in the sector.
Some FAQs:
- Sign-in is from 9:15 am.
- Lunch will be provided.
- There is some parking on Park Road itself, with additional parking on hopwood lane. There is a large car park on 'High Street' which is £2.50 for a full day. High Street car park | Calderdale Council
- The nearest bus stop is 'People's Park', but there are various other bus stops in the vicinity. We reccommend planning your route with busmaps.com .
- The venue is around a twenty minute walk from either Halifax Train Station or Halifax bus statioin.
- We have use of additional rooms in The Kings Centre, beyond the main hall, with one available as a quiet space.
- Conference is entirely free for Parent Carers, you just have to book a ticket.
- Both Professionals in the sector and Parent Carers with lived experience will be there on the day to help facilitate.
