Use props, instruments, and other tools to emulate the gestural pop art of artist Joyce Pensato. This guided one-hour exercise will help participants understand how line quality, movement, and intensity can change how we perceive images, even of familiar characters like Mickey Mouse, Batman, and more.ICA Miami’s Family Sundays series welcomes children of all abilities to engage with contemporary art through activities inspired by the museum’s exhibitions. The free, one-hour workshops engage families in hands-on art-making and creativity through storytelling, music, movement or art making (rotating weekly). Recommended for children enrolled Pre-K to 2nd grade.
